He was really having a hard time with my corsage, he was shaking :)

He also said he had a really terrible photo smile but somehow mine was worse every time. :)

Yeah Yeah Yeah... I haven't posted in a long long long while but I figured since prom was SUCH a momentous occasion (not) these are just some pics of my date (hot!) and me (uh my hair was struggling)... eh forget it.

Where did April go? I finished up finals at BYU-Idaho, spent a relaxing week with the fam, and flew out to Philadelphia to visit Juan, Stacia, and Siena. What a refreshing/exciting/beautiful/fun-filled vacation! I was spoiled beyond belief; I got to see amazing places, eat really yummy food daily, and not to mention, play with the most adorable and silly niece ever! Here is just a sample of my trip.

Central Park was extraordinary! We went on a gorgeous spring day. It was one of my favorite parts in NYC.

I love these guys! This is a little behind-the-scenes of Stacia's amazing photography skills and her main models. This was outside the crazy Hirshorn Museum.

The Washington DC Temple was beautiful and the trees and flowers were in their full splendor of spring.

The buildings in NYC were almost overwhelming, but it was a very neat experience.

Hello Spring!

Frankly, Stacia has the best birthday day on the calendar. And to celebrate this first lovely spring birthday I would like to share some never-before-seen photos of our birthday girl! (Please forgive my lack of photography skills and the fact that Siena happens to be in every picture in one way or another. I didn’t start really taking and keeping pictures until last summer.)

Words to describe Stacia: Gorgeous, Savvy, Creative, Radiant, Fun, Active, Hip, Visionary, and “Neato!”

One of extraordinary talents is her gift to arrange beautiful flowers. We have all been blessed by this unique talent.

Farewell to Winter

On this solemn occasion I would like to pay may last respects to the winter season.

It's not easy being green

It's not that easy being green;

Having to spend each day the color of the leaves.
When I think it could be nicer being red, or yellow or gold...
or something much more colorful like that.



It's not easy being green.
It seems you blend in with so many other ord'nary things.
And people tend to pass you over 'cause you're
not standing out like flashy sparkles in the
water or stars in the sky.



But green's the color of Spring.
And green can be cool and friendly-like.
And green can be big like an ocean, or important like a mountain,
or tall like a tree.



When green is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why, but why wonder why?
Wonder, I am green and it'll do fine, it's beautiful!
And I think it's what I want to be.

I haven't traveled too much in my life so far and I'm looking forward to when I can visit the many places I long to see. However, I have met some amazing people in the places I have been.

I met Kara on my Church History Tour back east. She is a leukemia survivor and a wonderful example of perseverance and happiness. She also taught me how to split an apple perfectly in half with my bare hands!
